HOW MEGA HANDLES DATA

DATA WE USE

Google authentication provides account identifiers and account information needed to sign you in. Your MEGA NAME is your public game identity; we do not display your Google email as a social identity. MEGA stores cloud game saves, profile data, friend relationships, invitation status, blocks, chat messages, support tickets, billing identifiers, subscription status, and operational timestamps where you use those features.

WHY

We use this data to authenticate you, restore saves, provide social and support features, enforce safety controls, operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.

PROCESSORS

Supabase provides authentication and database infrastructure. Google provides sign-in. Stripe processes subscription and voluntary support payments. Stripe handles payment-card details; MEGA does not store full card numbers.

VISIBILITY

Your MEGA NAME may be visible to other players. Friendships, blocks, chats, support threads, billing records, Google account data, and cloud saves are private and access-controlled. Friends-only chat is not a public forum.

RETENTION AND DELETION

Data is retained while needed to provide the service, meet security and billing-record obligations, or resolve requests. Account deletion is currently handled as a reviewed support request so linked game, social, support, and billing records can be handled safely.
